green start

fyi, for those of you in the brooklyn area, i will be part of the "green start" which means something for brooklyn spectators. the start of the race is broken into three groups which do not merge until mile 8.

check out the map for more info.

fundraising goal complete!

so i've now raised over $2,600 from friends and family who have committed to the team for kids cause. this is great news and all focus is on the big dance on sunday.

the fun begins this afternoon with the marathon expo at the javits center. the nyrr has made the expo mandatory as its the place you need to go to pick up your number and take care of all team matters, etc.

a lot of you have asked about the spots where carolyn and ted will be during the race, and im going to ask ted to post this info as a comment on the blog so everyone can coordinate.

in addition, details for monday night's dinner and drinks will be emailed to everyone. if you arent on the mailing list, email me and i'll add you to the list.
